Master taxidermist, Joe Batin, is an avid bird hunter; he has spent countless hours in the field observing and photographing various species of game birds and uses them for reference.  His extensive studies and observations in the marsh and field have made him an expert on bird anatomy down to the finest detail.  There is nothing worse than seeing a beautiful trophy mounted in an unnatural position.

Joe has lived and worked as a taxidermist in Alaska for 5 years. While living there he has consulted and worked with some of the best taxidermists in the world. He moved his taxidermy business to Utah and has been creating works of art in Utah for over 30 years.  He has the experience it takes to mount most any trophy. He has vast experience in mounting all birds including sea ducks.  Joe is skilled in creating custom bases that reflect the birds natural habitat, including water scenes, which enhances the display of your cherished memories.  His artistry accentuates the characteristics unique to every bird in a manner that meets our customer’s wishes.
